RSL Clubs
RSL clubs are membership clubs or organisations that are comprised of people who come from the armed forces. Members of these organisations may be veterans, people from the ex-service community, those who have served the Australian Defence Force or those that simply wish to show support for those who have served their country in the armed forces.
RSL clubs or retuned services league clubs have the following objectives:
- Provide welfare to members
- Provide members a respected and meaningful voice within the community and the entire Australian society
- Provide members advocacy and representation in society
- Employment assistance for veterans, ex-service members and their families
- Act as lobby group to the government and other public or government departments
Each of these clubs may provide its members with different types of benefits and advantages. These clubs provide their members the opportunity to grow as a community.
