THREE teenage boys were stabbed when a fight broke out at a house party in Sydney on Friday night.

Police interviewed witnesses who saw the fracas spill out of the Lane Cove home and onto Mowbray Road West. The brawl then continued at a neighbouring service station at about 9.20pm.

Officers questioned the party's host, 16-year-old Shane Hanuman, but released him without charge.

His grandmother said between 50 and 60 people attended the party. Mrs Hanuman said a fight broke out between two girls before the stabbings, but she said she didn't know who the attackers were.

Neighbours said police called to the scene had their guns out of their holsters and were running up and down the street trying to contain the fight. Empty cans of ready-to-drink alcoholic beverages were still strewn around the street and service station yesterday.

Two males from Roseville - a 17-year-old and a 19-year-old - and an 18-year-old man from Artarmon, were taken to Royal North Shore Hospital for treatment to stab wounds. All are in a satisfactory condition.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to phone Crime Stoppers on 1800333000.
